James Bellorini
James is a contemporary fine-art photographer, lens-based artist, and creative director. His portfolio moves between personal, editorial, and commercial work built on an accomplished and critically acclaimed practice that draws in elements of fashion, food, live performance, and improvisation.
He has made photography and artworks for notable creative institutions and brands including The Royal Opera House (London), Siren Design, The Swatch Group, The National Theatre (London), Charleston (Sussex), Boosey & Hawkes, Penguin/Random House, as well as for numerous artists and musicians. He has exhibited at the V&A in London, Hull International Photography Festival, and Home in Manchester and has been published in The Observer, The Guardian, The New York Times, SOURCE Magazine, Ain't-Bad, and other prominent media outlets including the BBC. His work has garnered critical acclaim from many industry voices including curators at Bloomberg and the New Art Exchange. He has co-created a number of participatory arts projects including those with Corridor (UK) and Brighton Photo Fringe.
He holds a Master's Degree in Photography from Falmouth University.
In 2023 he relocated from the UK to Brisbane, Australia.
