This short body of work is a deliberate attempt to push photographic methodologies and subject matter to a point where they transcend traditional, representative photography and reveal new aspects of a landscape. To achieve this I used photographic sequences captured around one location in a specific timeframe. The original photographic images then underwent a process of layering ands the removal of any conventional post-processing techniques such as naturalistic hues, contrast, sharpness etc. This moved the work away from regular representation and into visual abstraction, whilst at the same time retaining it’s original source.
